The 23rd Annual Medical Excess Claims Conference was successfully concluded on May 11.

David Ives Serves on SIIA TPA/MGU Excess Insurer Forum Panel

	David W. Ives, CEO, was recently invited to serve on the panel for SIIA's April TPA/MGU Excess Insurer Forum in Charleston, South Carolina. Their topic:Is There Such Thing as Hyper-Inflation of Claims, or Are We Just Hyper?
The panel examined trends in catastrophic claims by analyzing data and exploring the most common influences impacting high cost medical claims. Recognizing the reality of catastrophic claim mitigation and response strategies were also discussed by the panel.

David Ives Moderates Panel at Munich Health North America Symposium

David W. Ives, CEO of NiiS, has just recently returned from the Munich Health North America Symposium held annually in Arizona where he served as moderator for their keynote presentation. Karl Rove and Robert Gibbs spoke on Political Insights on Health Reform, the Economy and the 2012 Election to more than 150 senior leaders active in US and international health insurance and reinsurance.
